The Development Associate position is a support position helping to secure resources for and spread the good news about zero waste work as planet advocacy. If you love organizing things, data, and ideas, are energized by working with others, and are a systems thinker who cares about consistency and impact in your work – this position is for you! Our ideal candidate will join a passionate team working to reduce waste and build a more climate-resilient future through a suite of community programs, sustainability initiatives, and fundraising efforts. Youth Intern – Woodshop and Sustainability Trades
Home ReSource’s Youth Internship Program (YIP) is for high school-aged people seeking job experience as it relates to sustainability or trades. Interns will support store operations, engage in education opportunities with our community partners, and explore sustainable trade-focused career paths and practices in Missoula. The Spring 2025 Session will focus on gaining general job experience in the ReStore including processing donations, customer service, or a wide variety of store improvement projects. Interns will meet with our local partners, other similar organizations, and community members to learn about their programs and efforts in the region. Finally, interns will also learn about local sustainability programs in Missoula, relevant local policies, and how to practice sustainability in daily life, including sustainable career paths in the trades.. Internship Dates: April 3-May 24, 2025. Hours are Thursdays and Fridays, 4:00-6:00 and Saturdays 11:00-3:00.
