For our Work Programs we partner with other nonprofits and state/federal programs to provide
- older adults with updated vocational experience
- adults living with disabilities opportunities to build work skills
- people experiencing homelessness, veterans, and folks exiting the criminal justice system with mentoring, job training, and employment references.
Two tenets guide our work programs: the dignity of meaningful work and the respect we give each and every individual who comes into our organization. From youth to elders, recovering addicts to those with mental and physical disabilities, we surround program participants with a community where their contributions are valued. We meet people where they are at, help them learn new skills, nurture their sense of self and of belonging, and help prepare them to take the next step – whatever that might be.
